You have to prepare some new o-rings ,so disassembly is part actually very easy first things we do is remove the handle in case it will hitting you in the head.you will need  fifteen sixteenths socket move those two bolts.You have to open this up so there’s no resistance.

so that if that comes apart later you can put it back together.

Moving this is really a two-handed job use someone’s longer and that spring actually not under tension.

Pay attention to this part here(on the right side) because this is what you are going to removing when you slide that out,notice it goes back on and it that way obviously .So you are just going to pull this out of here .

By the way ever you tried putting on the stop leak jack oil (release valve),thus this particular model the o-ring is actually inside here not on here I’ve seen other jack’s where the o-ring is on this piece so it seemed like it’s easier to fix than having it in there basically you need some sort of pic or small screwdriver to remove the o-ring .

O-ring on the top and then there’s like a plastic retainer as well don’t want to break the plastic retainer.

you just want to get the o-ring out so take your time. You was able to hook it with the screwdriver basically try to slide it in straight catch the top of the ring and then bend it down until you caught it and see those are the wrestle it out of there so there’s the old o right hard to say if there’s anything noticeably wrong with it .but obviously it’s leaking . So you have to replace it with the new correct size one.

• To put the new o-ring in definitely a two-handed job basically.
• you’re just kind of working it back into the groove where it goes .
• wrestle this into place I’ve been wrestling with this for a while .
• The o-ring should eventually fit in the groove if you have right one to be in test. it’s a lot tighter fit than damaged over .

Now if you can get this locked and pump.

2.How to reassemble the trolley jack

It’s tricky some of these pieces and the slide in .you have to put the spring back in there like that this side go ahead get it started just finger tight.so tort it see if you start losing fluid right away. look at that, jack appears to be working and there’s no fluid coming out so anything that was to top off the fluid  and bleed it so that there’s no air in the system and then the final test would be to jack something under load your car .

Even though it’s jacking here under load ,it may not jack up so this one to fill the fluid just need a large flat screwdriver to open that up or the fluid in and then there’s difference theories on bleeding whether you should open this tighten this and jack get some of the bubbles out and everything so we’re going to host through this cap tighten those down and pump slowly looking for the air bubbles to show up in there .

do it really slow you can see some air bubbles there .now the fluids coming out ,go ahead and open this see it suck all the fluid in.

Every time i pump ,the fluid comes to the top of the hole. It goes back down as you release it.

So you are getting all the air out still there bubbles coming out alright now. You are going to top off the fluid tighten up the screw and jack should be good .this is what i’m using the stop leak certainly won’t hurt. This is the way how to reassemble floor jack.

3.One more part of the bleeding process

• Basically tighten it pump you’ll get some air out and you’ll notice the fluid level will not go down when you release.
• when you open the valve see it suck the fluid back in tighten it up pump it till the fluid fills to the top let it go.
• open it up the fluid get sucked back in .
• you may see some air a couple of these times so you’ll definitely want to bleed all the air out of your jack will work better and faster.

If you are not seeing any air at all that’s a good sign ,you’ll top it off again put the screw back .
